Wumpo Botan is one of the hardest Pals in all of Palworld to catch, but it's with good reason. This "Guardian of the Grassy Fields" is a Grass-type variant of the regular Ice-type Wumpo, but it also picks up some Water-type moves. Its real benefit, however, is its utility as a working Pal for your base with level 4 in Transporting, level 3 in Lumbering, level 2 in Handiwork, and level 1 in Planting. But if you unlock its saddle and keep one in your team, then it can be ridden and will increase your carrying capacity by a whopping 120. To make all that happen, you'll have to forage for a ton of Beautiful Flowers to craft it.

Like many element-based resources, Beautiful Flowers are associated with some Grass-type Pals. Unlike Electric or Fire Organs, they don't have a ton of utility, but it's still important to know where you can find them and what you can do with them. Follow our guide to do just that.

All Beautiful Flower Recipes

In Palworld, Beautiful Flowers are used for only two technology recipes: the Flower Bed unlocked at level 24 and the Wumpo Botan Saddle unlocked at level 45. You only need to craft the saddle once, which costs 24 Beautiful Flowers along with 36 Leather, 60 Fiber, 12 Refined Ingots, and 48 Paldium Fragments. But for each Flower Bed, you'll also need to spend 50 Wood, 100 Stone, and 40 Cement alongside 40 Beautiful Flowers. This is worth it, however, as each Flower Bed improves the gathering efficiency of Pals in your base, so if you're growing any crops, it's pretty vital.

Beautiful Flower is also a component in crafting Strange Juice at a Medieval Medicine Workbench or Electric Medicine Workbench to boost work speed at the cost of lowering SAN. The Suspicious Juice is a less powerful version with the same effect. There's also the Memory Wiping Medicine and Mind Control Meds that can be crafted at the Electric Medicine Workbench using Beautiful Flowers. These are all a bit niche but good to have if you're in a particular situation that requires their extreme effects.

Where to Find Wumpo Botan

Wumpo Botan is only found in the wild at the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary above level 40, however, there is an Alpha Pal boss version at level 38 on the northwesternmost point of the Eastern Wild Island. You'll find it directly west of the Eastern Wild Island fast-travel point just wandering the shoreline.

How to Get Beautiful Flowers

Beautiful Flowers can also be dropped by a few Grass-type Pals. As is the case with most Pal drops, your best route when farming their materials is to capture rather than defeat them in the wild so you can then butcher them with a Meat Cleaver for a second chance at acquiring their specific resources.

Here's a look at all the Pals that drop them:

• Lyleen
• Lyleen Noct
• Petallia
• Ribbuny
• Special Flower Gumoss
• Wumpo
• Wumpo Botan

Ribbuny is the lowest-level Pal that can drop Beautiful Flowers, but the drops are somewhat rare. The level 28 Petallia Alpha Pal at Sealed Realm of Spirits south of Mount Flopie and northwest of Windswept Hills is a solid farmable option if you're around that level. You might as well also consider farming the Wumpo Botan Alpha Pal until you get one with good passive traits.

The best way to farm these flowers, however, is to venture into the three Wildlife Sanctuaries where they grow in the wild. The safest of them is the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary south of Flying Fish Coast which is southwest of the game's starting point. The Pals here are only in the 20-25 range whereas the Pals in the other two are between level 40 and 45. Use a flying mount to get there then hop on a rideable mount to cruise around collecting flowers, and you should have more than enough in no time.

Keep in mind that some of the PIDF troopers in the area will go hostile as soon as they see you. Trespassing in any of the sanctuaries is considered a crime, and some of their troops are in the mid-30s in terms of level.
