Ready to give Fido’s stinky breath a makeover?

Our homemade fresh breath dog treat recipe should do the trick!

If you’re looking for hypoallergenic dog treat recipes, these are great unless your pooch has an oat or egg allergy.

My dog Maia is a kisser. Like a super-psycho kisser. If you don’t stand still and let her slather your face with her doggy tongue, she’ll stalk you and try to hold you down until you give in.

Here’s the problem: she does the same thing to the cat’s behind. Alex the Fuzz seems to think that Maia is his mom, so he lets her bathe him…top to bottom. Emphasis on the bottom!

Now, I’m not squeamish about doggy kisses.

When you’ve lived with dogs as long as I have, you find that very little phases you. Stinky dog breath kisses, though, are in their own category.

If I can do something about it, you betcha I’m going to try!

This homemade fresh breath dog treats recipe is an easy way to sweeten those kisses!

It’s a great compliment (or alternative, depending on your dog’s food allergies) to our other breath biscuits recipe!

Let’s check it out! (Don’t forget to print the recipe below)

If your dog does have an egg allergy, you can use substitutions as binding agents.

For example, 1/4 cup of applesauce should do the trick.

Will it change the consistency and flavor? Probably. But I don’t think your pooch will mind terribly.

Next time you catch your pooch heading towards you for sloppy kisses just offer him one of these treats to sweeten his breath!

Does your dog have any gross habits that she always seems to do right before she wants kisses?
