6 Cute And Easy Paper Flowers - PaperPapers Blog (2024)

If you’re looking for a fun way to decorate or want to try your hand at something new, then you’ve come to the right page! Let’s go over six cute and easy paper flower designs that you can make yourself!

Flowers to Make:

Flower #1

  1. Take a sheet of paper and glass. Draw circles onto the sheet with the help of the glass. You will need 12 circles. Cut out all of the shapes and fold them in half except for one.
  2. Using a glue stick, make a small spot on the unfolded circle and then place one folded circle corner on top of the glue. Then open up the folded circle and put glue in the middle, placing another folded circle inside that glue spot. Repeat this process until you have a complete circle of stacked folded circles.
  3. In the middle of the folded circles, place a dollop of glue using a hot glue gun. Then place a smaller piece of paper in the shape of a circle on top.

Flower #2

  1. Take a piece of paper the size of a post-it note. Draw a circle with the help of a glass. Then cut the circle out. Do this step four more times.
  2. Fold the circle in half and then fold in it half again. Open it up and apply the glue to 1/4 of the back of the circle. Fold the glued side in on itself, do the same with the folded side next to it. Repeat this process with all pieces. Your paper should resemble a cone shape. Crease the cone corner at the bottom of the heart shapes.
  3. Take one cone piece and glue one side of it. The heart shape should be right side up. Stick another cone piece to the other. Repeat this step until all cone pieces are together. Place a dollop of glue on the center of the flower and place a round bead.

Flower #3

  1. Using a magazine, take out a page using scissors. Fold the page in half and then take one flap of the page and fold it halfway up to meet the original crease. Do the same with the other side.
  2. Use scissors to make slight cuts in the folds. The cuts should be close together throughout the page. Make sure you’re only cutting the side with two folds.
  3. Flip over to the uncut edge, and on one end of the page, tape a bamboo skewer to the bottom of that edge. Then roll the folded page around the skewer. Tape the bottom of the other edge to the skewer. Then use a green streamer, rolling down the skewer until it resembles a stem.

Flower #4

  1. For this flower, you will need one large circle, three medium and one small. Take the big circle and fold it in half three times. Draw two rounded ends on the top of the folded paper. Then cut out the shape.
  2. Unfold part of the paper and make cuts in each of the rounded ends. Open it up and curl up each of the petal shapes. Redo steps one and two with the medium and small-sized circles. Then stack them onto each other, gluing the bottom of each. Then place a small circle in the middle to complete the flower.

Flower #5

  1. Fold a circle in half and open it up. Bring both sides of the circle to the crease. Slant the folds so that the top of the circle is larger than the bottom. Repeat this step 9 more times and then glue the circles together to make a larger circle.
  2. Make another same size circle and glue it to the bottom of the flower circle. Place tiny cotton balls on the glue in the middle.

Flower #6

  1. Cut a post-it note size paper into two triangles. Then fold both triangles in half. Open it back up and bring the corner into the fold.
  2. Flip it over and bend the two points over. Bend them back and place them inside the first fold. Bend the bottom corners in, then flip it over and fold the corners that way. Release the flaps so that they’re sticking out. Repeat steps one and two six more times.
  3. Connect the pieces to make a circle. Then open up the petals and glue a small cotton ball in the middle.
